Dealing With Customer Interest in On-Site Renewable Power

About The Course
This training seminar provides electric power suppliers with a step-by-step method to educate customers who ask about residential-size wind or solar systems. Using many visuals and case studies (primarily from Midwestern states), you will learn how to explain the limitations and economics of owning on-site generation in a straightforward and non-biased way.

As listed on the detailed agenda, participants will learn the key concepts about wind and solar availability in their area (using wind and solar maps). Then we’ll show you how to realistically interpret this for customers in an easily-understandable way.

Using lessons learned from actual installations in states with “marginal” wind (and solar) resources, you can help consumers see why the economics and performance of small-scale wind generators seldom match the larger utility-scale systems. Then to help consumers with their next decisions, we’ll compare how energy management offers them a much better return, while also staying “green".

The instructors for this course have many years experience in the energy and electric utility field. They know how to focus on the key concepts and explain them in an entertaining and visual way.
